Skating

Thomas and I have been trying to go skating a few times a week now that the outdoor rinks are up and running. I know we can always go to an arena, but it's just not the same. There's such a feeling of wonder and freedom in skating outside...I guess it reminds me of my childhood - I spent countless hours at the outdoor rink (I'm from a small town, there was no indoor rink!lol) with friends. I'm also enjoying just spending time alone with Thomas. I've thought of getting skates for Emma, but we'll wait until next year, although she's such a physical child, I'm sure she'd get the hang of it in no time. For now, this is a fun way for Thomas and I to have some one on one time. :-)
